I understand the question. This is the most talented and impressive thing I've ever seen, it's just that some people don't think this is art - like why bother creating what's already there? But I say if you're this great, keep at it! This makes an unique and brilliant hobby!
I agree with you, old man and woman are much more intresting than a pretty face. I mean, I like pretty faces, off course, but from the drawing point of view, old faces are more challenging and intresting. Thanks for the kind words
If i use charcoal i have seen some greats lay a base of charcoal then eraser to lift the charcoal to give the impression of hair...but i cant lift it, can you use chalk on charcoal or what methods are there to give those crisp higlights?? Loosing the plot
