Update May 4thJust a quick update to say Hi, thanks and yahoo

What a month for drawing April was, apart from the enormous response to my drawing 'Running Water'

Two other enormous things happend to me on DA, firstly I finally achieved a 'fave' from one of the people I most admire on DA - the great the wonderful, the inspirational Franco http://francoclun.deviantart.com/ whilst this may not sound very exciting or 'big' to anyone else, for me it was an enormous accolade. His work has inspired me to keep trying to improve and without his masterful pieces im not sure i would still be drawing - you all know him but, but if there is anyone left on DA that doesn't know his work - check it out

The 2nd thing that happened to me on DA, was that I sold a print from one of my drawings

Again maybe not monumental for most, but for me this was the 1st time anyone was willing to spare some hard earned cash and actuallyUpdate May 4th by =Paul-Shanghai

This year I celebrates my half a century. If it is true that a picture can explain more than thousand words, I am what you see on the selfportrait above.
The picture says I love drawing and I love the graphite (also said I have an ugly face, but you are kind and pretend not to notice)
I always had overwhelming passions, and the drawing is one of them.
For a long time I have left to devote to other things, but I returned three years ago.
Unfortunately I did not study art, and everything I know I learned from experience and from reading some drawing manuals.
For the moment I'm posting old drawings, but the company of many great artists pushed me back to draw, so be careful: I’m at work.

I knew that the time would come, and I am so sorry, I was hoping it would be later in the future, but it is here: I can not thank you as I would like anymore. I have 4000 friends who follow my work and hundreds of fav every day (and that makes me great pleasure). Until today I wanted to tell you directly how I', grateful, but now I work 1 or 2 hours at the computer to thank, and commitments will not let me anymore. Definitely I will continue to respond to comments, but right now I want to thanks in advance all those who want to add my drawings to their collection and want to add my name to the list of friends.

I take this opportunity to share with you some of the best moments I have experienced in recent months:
